In the beginning…
We start with an in-depth consultation, we ask questions, we work with our clients to develop a unique and personalised concept for each project to ensure our clients interiors reflect what is meaningful to them.
Then… we develop the initial concept design.
Merge Interior Design believes in a hands-on approach to the design process and aims to provide a high quality service that works within our clients’ program and budget. Extensive research leads us to developing inspired layouts, 3D sketches and palette options that will work for the space.
Next… client presentation and discussion.
3D sketches of the proposed design are presented to the client along with materials, finishes, colours and much more, creating the vision of what the interiors will look like, and equally important, what they’ll feel like.
Next… we proceed to the design development and construction drawings stage.
Drawings are finalised. Construction drawings are created to inform relevant trades people and contractors of how to build the design. A schedule document is prepared which contains all of the relevant information of the selected finishes, fittings and fixtures that is needed to construct the project.
During construction;
Our services don’t stop here – during the construction stage, we will liaise with the selected builder and tradespeople as needed and have regular site visits for everyone’s benefit and peace of mind.
Upon completion;
Our reward is seeing the client’s eyes light up when they walk in to their new interiors and hearing them say, “It’s everything that we hoped it would be.”
